Plum City Church

The Lord has strategically located the Plum City
Evangelical Free Church in an area that has very few
evangelical churches. For nearly 67 years this
congregation has been a faithful witness of the gospel of
Jesus Christ in this small village. Yet, they believe the
best years of ministry lie ahead! The Lord has a plan
and a purpose for the Plum City EFC; and they plan to
move forward with plans for a foyer addition and
renovation. They believe this is not the time to be
winding down the ministry of this church, but time to be
gearing up for the future!

The theme of the building project is "Continuing the
Mission." Ground breaking took place on Sunday, June

6, 2010, and excavation began on June 23, 2010. Everything is on schedule for the volunteers to begin building
on July 9, 2010. While the building team is preparing for the building process, Pastor Philip Bloomdahl is
preparing a series of messages for after lunch to spiritually challenge and grow the volunteers. Solid Rock
Builders Ministry is about both building churches and building up volunteers in the Lord.

Solid Rock Builders Ministry will help Plum City EFC Church do the framing, roofing, windows, and siding. We
will help build on the following 5 weekends, (and only these weekends):

Everything will be in place so when volunteer Builders arrive on July 9th, the concrete will be in place and
building materials will be onsite to begin framing-up the building. As you can imagine, this is a very exciting time
for Plum City Church, as they see God working among them, and they want to share this excitement with you.

Volunteer Builders are either part-time or full-time Builders. Most Builders are part-time Builders who come and
build on Friday and Saturday. Full-time Builders sign up for an entire week or more.

To become a Solid Rock Builder, just come to the building site. You don’t need to fill out any paperwork in
advance. You’ll be asked to sign a short application form when you arrive. We start working at 7:30am on
Friday and Saturday. Come whenever you can make it, and drive safely. No work on Sunday.

Bring your friends and family. In addition to builders, we need all kinds of support people from supplying
material to serving food. Come experience the awesome power of spiritual fellowship working
shoulder-to-shoulder with other builders.
